central locking pump

just wondering if any one can help me out hear the pumps now stoped working bit its makeing a hisss ing sound for about 20 - 30 seconds anyway that this can b fixed or if ill have to buy a new pump?

any help would b gr8

come to the poloshow in two weeks and we´ll find the fault.....

If its hissing, it does not sound dead to me... could be a broken air pipe somewhere or just the main connection has come off the air pump - have you checked its on solid and not kinked or broken?

not yet ill have a look 2 moro when ma mum brings the car bak

all was working gd when we got the car. went wrong from there tho

ritey just had a wee look there

the bit where the air pipe conects 2 (the wee white bit thats screwed onto the metal) ther seams to b air comeing out of that not sure if its ment 2 tho any 1 know also any idea how 2 fix it

no air should be leaking anywhere at all, sounds like that part has fractured or a pipe has come loose off it - the white bit is like a distrubutor for the air to all the pipes that go to door locks

can be easily replaced if this is the problem

just been haveing a wee think there would i b able to tape the pipe where teh airs comeing out with insulating tape until i get round 2 changeing the little white thing

I don't see why not, use some gaffer tape or something like that, or electrical tape for a good air tight-ish seal

any chance you get post a picture of the exact bit that is broken?

it could be: 447 711 758

but there are several bits like that

bak again found out what was wrong pics bellow

the part circled is a kind of rubery type thing which has a hole in it so the air is leaking out tryed 2 tape it but no luck bellow is a closer pic of it

does any 1 know if i would b able just 2 get the rubbery bit or would i have 2 get the whole thing

also any 1 know how much it would b

hi sorry for the delay, I can't seem to find that part listed, is there by any chance a part number printed on any bit of the white thing? would help to see what can be got
