Lowering, Again!!!

Post by The_phat_controlleruk »

O.k. The story so far, just started modding my 6n4, clear front and side repeaters, green tinted rear cluster, lowered 40mm, smoked windows, 16 inch K2 rims. What I would like to know is, I desperately want to slam my ride, at least another 25mm. Question is I have only just bought the springs and realised it's just not low enough. I haven't done the shocks yet (gonna be next), I don't particularly want to buy another set of springs to lower it even more. Is there a way round this ???

Check out my baby below.

Welcome to the forum, nice car u got there like the colour.

Ok first of I see from the pic you 6n mk4 :P

I would wait a while as ur springs need to bed down, they will then drop slighty more..............

or get coil overs adjust them as low as u want, but stay away from cheap ones as they tend to rust in place.......

(Dam those poor alloys seriously kerbed  )

The wife used it as her main drive, when she gets her new car, this will become mine. Once that happens I intend to get the wheels re-lacquered. Was thinking of getting them done in black, dunno yet.

They're the bumpers from a 16v model mate, and should be a straight swap if you can find some for a good price

Mines a 16v so it has different bumpers, they come on the 16v, SE and GLX i believe.

Finding some at a good price id pretty difficult though!!
