You sure it was the 1.8T?
It looked like an Anniversary, but went like a 2.0 GTI

Bacially it was either a 2.0L or a 1.8T driven slowly. The 1.8T anni does 0-60 in 6.9 and none of those other cars are less then 10 seconds... load of s**t.

Was funny though, and to my Anni' owner workmate, it gave me much too rip when we returned to work

What's this going to do to the price of the 6n2 GTi's?

I've already seen a couple on auto trader for around 4k!

To be honest though, I really don't like the new Polo GTi *runs*. So the next car is either a 6n2 GTi or a Fox.

Just noticed; this one doesnt have xenon headlights like the 6n2 gti does.

I wouldn't think it would affect the prices of the 6N2 GTi, as they are a lovely motor, go well for the engine size and you dont get many of thm around.

The current Polo GTi wont change value too much like ModifiedMadness said because they are rare.

There is too much similarity in the looks of the new polo and the golf, the current polo GTi is small and funky. The new Gti has grown up to the point its almost a golf which is defeating the object imo.

I'd hardly say they're not rare, if there's only 3000 in the UK, out of however many cars there are.

They're definitely rare IMHO. I don't see a GTi on the roads for weeks at a time very often, thats rare!

I'm finding it very very unlikely that this new GTI will be my next car tbh, on the financial side of things its just too much, i'm supposed to be saving for a house of my own some time before 2050!

However, I'm sure a handful of owners will come to hear of UK-P and we'll see them at the summer shows perhaps? At shows like VWNW a local dealership is usually in attendance with some recent models, so could be a good chance to see one then...

Smoked headlights, now they do look fine... if you're brave you can dismantle the 6n2 GTi xenonsand spray the interior housing of the light unit black before refitting the bulbs and xenons? Possibly could be done, can definitely be done on cars with all-bulb layouts 8)
