Hi is this a boot mounted cd changer on in dash one?

if boot, then yes, all you need is the lead!

you never said in your original post

anyway, you need the cd changer lead, it will bring the power needed and connections needed into the boot. one end of the cable will plug into the cd changer and the other end will plug into the spare plug on the back of your current dash single slot cd player

then you can choose between the two using the chooser button on the single slot cd player

Do a google search

The make and model and 'autochanger lead' will do. There not cheap mind!

A lot of people are buying these leads to connect their iPod/MP3 players to their CD players.

Make sure that your single slot unit has a suitable socket. Not all do.

3B0051592A is for a passat, so your number is close, but missing a letter and 1C0 seems wrong

i checked with the dealer, basically he said yeah, took my money and said it was on order, then when i double checked with him to make sure it was the right lead he says "Ohhhh im glad you told me that because i thought you just wanted to connect a single cd player with your headunit",. Then when i asked him if he had the lead for the changer he said "ohhh well we dont sell the lead seperatly we only sell the kit which costs £65exc VAT". I was like Thank You Very MUch and go f**k yourself, considerin i just paid £30 for a tiny piece of mirror.
