if i lower my polo gti will it look a bit difrent and bit beter or wil it make no difrence at all as i have a steep drive and if i go to low it wil catch at the botom

Well if you lower it, it will look better.
How much you thinking of lowering it and how steep is the drive...?

damn sory ment to say 30mm my drive is quite steep n then changes to flat if i lower it 30mm i will get down the drive if i go slow

30mm shouldn't be a problem IMO :wink:

Can't imagine 30mm will be too much of a drop to cause problem with your drive. I have a fairly steep drive which then levels out and i didn't have any probs when i was lowered about 75mm. I've now raised mine a little cause of local spped bumps tho. :evil:

I'm sure you could work out how much your able to lower, by working out the gradient of your drive and then working out height of splitter against distance from wheel. :?

Haven't done maths for a while so can't think how to work it out but that could give you an answer! Sure someone can help tho!

Failing that, park on the road or......demolish your drive and make it less steep!!! :twisted:

i will probs be ok at 30mm but will it look any difrent? i went down the drive a bit quicker than normal the other day and it scraped and thats standard. ma older sister has a 1.8 bog sandard audi a3 and that scrapes unles she crawls down my mate has a s**t paxo and its lowered 75mm and he scraped his exahaust middle section at the top of the drive if he kept goin it wud of ripped it off or he wuda got stuck in a see saw fasion!!!!! so shal i drop it 30 and get down just or leave it as standard!!!!! wat im tryin to work out is will 30 mill look any beter?????

Seriously tho, probably not worth the hassle in my opinion. Although, you will get better cornering ability as the springs will be harder and centre of gravity of the car is lowered too!!!

The choice is yours at the end of the day!

no its not that steep and no got no wer else to park only the street and it would be stupid to park on the street wen ive got a good drive to hide down my dad is gunna level it out a bit but untill then i might go for a 30 or 35 drop
i could probly rig sum temporary ramp up

lower it 50mm on sportlines and reverse on! i never catch on anything if i reverse
