PLEASE HELP: NO IGNITION POWER TO HEADUNIT

Just had some coilovers fitted today and when i picked it up i turned the kwy and the CD player came on. It turned off for about 30 seconds and hasn't worked since. I got an multimeter onto the red and yellow leads and one reads 12.4 volts always and the other 0 even when i turn the ignition on. I connect both to the 12.4 lead and it worked for a minute until the fuse blew. Can anyone help me, i have no clue why the ignition cable suddenly has no power.

no idea mate? take it back to the place where they fitted the coilies and blame them...that shouldnt happen, they might have cut a wire somewhere although thats unlikely...and also your fuse shouldnt blow when you bridge the live to ignition so thats another problem

For now i have added a wire from somewhere else that only has power when the key is turned but i still want the original one to work. Now that it turns on though, the cd changer is not recognised when i click the source button. Any ideas?
