Since my last post the car now starts fine, the problem now is that the car revs itself at junction. The worst thing is that it now seems to increasingly stutter alot while driving, feels like when u let go and re-apply the throttle during driving.
Upon inspecting the throttle body today i noticed that the small rubber pipe connected to the bottom of the air box has a hole in it and the rubber is not in good shape. So im guessing this is the 'oil breather' pipe i have read about in other posts, if so could this be causing my idle symptoms (save me getting a throttle body), and where do i order a replacement....thanks in advance...

Sorry guys but im getting a bit confused and just want to make sure i get the right pipe from VW...
The airbox only seems to have 3 holes, 1: the large plastic air intake, 2: the round seal that sits over the butterfly valve and 3: the pipe i need to replace... So soz to waste anyones time and look an idiot but from what i can see it can only be either the oil breather OR the vacuum pipe and from the feedback im getting it could be either but i only see one pipe. Sorry if this doesnt make much sense, thought it might be the oil breather as it looks like old dirty oil inside maybe, but hoping it might be the vacuum pipe as this could solve my problems...
Any help or p*** taking this way please....

Thanks for the pic, well its def the oil breather pipe that has the hole, but on a more worrying note the vacuum pipe is not connected up???? Hasnt been for a while. When replacing the airbox a while back i checked for any missing pipes and didnt see it, I cant check(fix) now as the misses has taken her to work 2nite....
