I cant think of an engine i would rather put in less then a 2.0L 16v 150bhp :S...

Id put a 1.8T or a 2.0T in there, if you put a VR6 in, it wouldnt be as easy to tune, and they are heavy as f**k so would drive like a pissed pig.

i was thinking about going down the 1.8T route, and i have spoken to JBS, they told me:

Drive in, drive out service, low mileage 1.8T engine, big brakes and a front mounted intercooler=

£7000!!!! :o :o

I didn't even pay that for the whole car!

So i'm gonna save it and buy an S3 when i have had enough of the Polo, that is'nt gonna be too soon though!

I dont understand how they can justify that kind of price tag...

If you were gonna fit a larger capacity engine you would also have to upgrade the gearbox....as the inreased torque would destroy the factory box

Goes with out saying! especially the gti box which seems to be made out of wood!
