Dan thanks for the welcome, i've been on here quite a while now, someone just bumped the thread that's all lolvwdan wrote:welcome
like your car! think you were best getting that than the saxo (no offense)
id say yes for the gti grille. i got one the other week and it makes quite an improvement. Wouldnt go for the GTI badge
keep us updated with any improvements!
I did get the grill and was fitted, the wheels never got fitted for above reasons. I really don't know if i'm keeping the car though, i'm bored with it, and it doesn't meet what i want right now.

Don't get me wrong i do love the Polo, but the model i chose has certain things which annoy me such as no central locking and no elcetric windows lol.
I would have another Polo, just an upgraded version i guess, i have thought about a gti, we'll just wait and see.

collywobbles,
sorry for the late-ish reply! i can kinda see your point of view on the non electric windows etc but hey im just a bit lazy and get used to electrics lol
mine only has key central locking though but am not too fussed. can live with it!
i do quite like VWs. I had a P reg clio RT before but after my polo I dont know if I would go back. the polo just has that nicer ride and build quality but I think its each to there own. I would like to get a golf next but as ModifiedMadness wrote, there quite heavy and not as quick as everyone thinks.
Also are quite big too and I only really been used to small cars!
