Dan thanks for the welcome, i've been on here quite a while now, someone just bumped the thread that's all lol

I did get the grill and was fitted, the wheels never got fitted for above reasons. I really don't know if i'm keeping the car though, i'm bored with it, and it doesn't meet what i want right now. :?

Something faster

Don't get me wrong i do love the Polo, but the model i chose has certain things which annoy me such as no central locking and no elcetric windows lol.

I would have another Polo, just an upgraded version i guess, i have thought about a gti, we'll just wait and see. 8)

Do it

Although the GTi has a few problems, they're great cars in their class for the money and still a lot rarer than Corsa's, Saxo's etc not to mention better looking and better built 8)

The only thing I do know is the Golf is a heavy car so supposedly not as quick as everyone thinks.

Plus it doesn't have Xenons, which are great.

Other than that I'm not overly sure to be honest.

collywobbles,
sorry for the late-ish reply! i can kinda see your point of view on the non electric windows etc but hey im just a bit lazy and get used to electrics lol
mine only has key central locking though but am not too fussed. can live with it!

i do quite like VWs. I had a P reg clio RT before but after my polo I dont know if I would go back. the polo just has that nicer ride and build quality but I think its each to there own. I would like to get a golf next but as ModifiedMadness wrote, there quite heavy and not as quick as everyone thinks.
Also are quite big too and I only really been used to small cars!
