New Wheels - First mod :)
Just went all the way and got hold of some RX'II 16's, the ones I have always wanted. The only problem is they are sitting on 205/45/16 tyres. My car is standard and I will eventually upgrade to a nice set of 195/40's when I have the cash but skint now, question is will they be able to fit right on or am I going to need spacers etc..???
The car hasn't been lowered yet so i'm hoping they will just soak up the extra space temporarily

Yeah they were, its seriously damaged my pocket but I know its worth it. Good plan about the tyres, Just can't face taking more out on my card right at this moment..Ollie_R wrote:Oooh, nice one mate! You soon will become a member of a very exclusive club![]()
Were they the ones on ebay? I saw that the tyres were nearly new Dunlops. Maybe you could take them off the wheels and sell them on ebay, and use the profits to buy a set of new Toyo T1-R's in 195/40/16

Ha ha ha, I must have been bidding against you at one point Shantybeater as I was looking at them also... I actually need just the one wheel but getting hold of just one is another matter!
Well done, they will fit straight on but I have 195/40/16 as mine had previous 205 and they were rubbing slightly. You'll love them as I do mine! Well done!

Yeah i'm hoping so, ever since I bought the car I knew they had to be got. Cyhliu your car is looking awesome, what have you got it lowered to/with ??
I'm going to try and bang them on tonight as they are, hopefully they will last 3 weeks like that without too many problems(no speed bumps on the way to work) and then I can deal with changing the tyres.
Probably not going to parallel park for about 14 years either, certainly wont' be going near the curb haha
