I got a quote, for when i get my GTI engine in, yh fair enough it might not be overly accurate as mines will be classed as a conversion. But i got quoted £730 with Bell on 2NCB. High excess of £500 though!

I'll be paying £965 in Feb, I am 20 with 2 years NCB

That includes all mods, with coilovers (at any height) & I have declared mods I don't even have yet, as they said it'll be cheaper if I tell them now - Also have my g/f on it  , she is 20, but only passed in Dec, and both my parents.

Could probably get it alot cheaper, but got enough things to sort out right now

Brentacre are superb 8) thats who I am with now. 25, max NCB (protected), legal cover, all mods declared and free reign on any future mods as long as (a) I declare them and (b) power output doesn't go above 130bhp. It would have been under £350 FC but I have to have class 1 business cover which bumps it up to £480

They are worth a shout but some have said that they are not so good for anyone under 21/22. Still you never know eh!

Cheers

And if you're looking for a quote now's the time 'cause there's 25% off until the end of the month if you decide to take the policy up. I'm going to start looking at getting my own policy when I'm 20 in March.
So we have 2 days to get a quote to get the 25% discount. My policy with NU runs out on the 23rd of feb!

Aye. Get a quote Phil, you never know it may be cheaper :)
cheers man, i'll give it a bash. Any ideas if they cover for the fast track schemes, cos i have 21 months no claims, but according to the fast track i done, is effectively 2 years. Know what i mean?

No idea sorry mate. I only pass people on to the insurers when I'm at work 'cause we don't deal with them at all in the branch so I don't know anything about the policies tbh (even though they insure me too  )
Haha lucky bastard! I need me a job at HSBC!!!
