i found a set of 7" wide ones on ebay a while back! 16s and needed a damn good refurb but i got them for £112.
they are five stud tho and off a golf 20th anni! went to a local refurbed who said they would be £65 a corner for a polished rim and colour coded centre or £55 for a silver rim and cc centre!

I finally have my new wheels, after my RXII's were theived by some scrotum-faced twunts

I was going to showcase them at the GTI Spring Festival, but I couldn't wait.

They were stolen from the garage at the end of my garden. Here's the thread about it:

http://www.tigerstyle.co.uk/poloforum/v ... hp?t=28646

They're 7's all round, ET37 with 195/45/15 Avon tyres. I used two of the spacers to give a bit of girth on the rear, they're spaced out 20mm on the back. I did run some at the front, but they were rubbing slightly, so I took them off.

I miss my RXII's, but you have to move on.

sh*t?! that was a whole load of stuff they nicked, seriously gutted for u mate... but as some have already said, these are rare so if any pop up you'll know they're yours, especially with the condition of them! ok i'm really pushing it now but how about the 15mm spacers u had?

Yeah, I have a pair of spacers left, with the required bolts, too. I think there's a set of locking bolts, too.

Make me an offer, and I'll have a think about it. However, I'm away in Newquay for a week this Saturday, so I won't be about.

I vaguely remember asking you about the spacers ages ago but can you remind me are they H&R forged aluminium which you got from DPM autostyling? I'm in the process of having my suspension sorted so will have to see whether I can stretch my budget for these too... will definitely let u kno, Cheers!

Nope, I didn't get those. They were too much for me

They're Simoni ones. I think they're aluminium, and they're hubcentric. They're multi-fitment, but not like the non-hubcentric pikey ones. They're all ready to fit on a VW, and the c/b is spot-on.

Phil, I want to get my passenger side mirror cap finished (3rd time lucky with spraying it ). I may have sorted myself out with a job, so I may have to splash out for a set of KW's and get lower

Maybe a Votex spoiler for the back, and my mate is bringing back a Hawaiian Lei for shows (the flowery wreaths you see in some retro/rat cars).

Other than that, I want to save my moolah for something slightly faster

Cheers, it looks like our cars are going to be twins

Have you lowered it yet?

Personally, I prefer the new wheels to the old ones, as they look like they were made for the car, and I reckon the RXII's looked too big.
