Polo vs Ibiza vs Fabia suspension - coilovers

Post by david burton »

Just been chatting to a fellow member about this, and I wondered if anyone knew the differences in the setup between the 3 platforms?

basically I'm selling FK coilovers and wondered if they can be advertised as suitable for the fabia etc etc?

Quite sure the Ibiza 6L, Fabia and Polo 9N coilovers are all the same. As chris4500uk says its the same chassis. Not sure if spring rates are different though :?

spring rates shouldn't matter a huge amount - as the coilovers are adjustable you only get one set for the whole range.

just that DanDiesel mentioned that the Ibiza ones are differently priced to the others.

Well the top mounts and bearings of the 9N are the same as the Ibiza. So is the rears. Not 100% whether they fit the same way on the hub assembly at fronts though, but I think they do.
