heh i have a set of red ones in the garage waiting to go on, but shush dont tell anyone, i dont wanna be laughed at   lol.

Neons look alright sometimes. As long as you cant see the bulbs and the car is low enough to the floor that it actually looks like its glowing rather then having a couple of bars under it (if anyone gets my meaning?!?!). Which mine should... though on these mk4's you really honestly need side skirts before you put neons on from my observations. The front and backs are easy enough to do but the sides will be showing real bright without skirts to cover it up.

I loathe cars with visible neons. Its just so pants.

Dont get me started dude. I go basildon regularly every week. Nothing worst then a bunch of s**t fords with crimbo lights round the bottom.

The real disgrace is sometimes you see the odd perfectly good German car ruined in such a way down there. high end of the chav spectrum = the M3 beamer *wipes tear*

Haha I totally agree. I absolutely HATE it when the underlight bulbs are visible under the car. I've managed to get a Rieger front spoiler for my car, hopefully I'll be getting it resprayed and fitted tommorow at Top Gear.

Hey I was just wondering, for 14" rims the tyre specs should be 185/55/14, and my car's model needs four nut fittings right? I can't tell with the hubcabs on.

I've just fitted a Kamei grill (bought it off my mate for £50-is tht good?) and bought a Rieger lip for my front bumper. The lip cost £50 but the respray is £120!!! Madness I say!!

CR4P!!!!!!!!! I didn't know about that website man. Otherwise I would have bought my stuff from there. And the body kits are well cheap. Ah well, thanks for the link though...I'm probably gonna use it for future purposes.

I've just had the front splitter fitted. Tell me what you guys think.

This is the BEFORE pic (before grill and splitter):

This is obviously the car after today's mods:

Yea what happened was, I got a call from the garage saying for some reason, the splitter was too big for my car (prob cause it was meant for a GT model) and the only way round was to trim it. So yea, it is a bit uneven but it doesn't look too bad. Yea I was too cramped there in my driveway lol; I'll take it somewhere more spacious next time. Next stop: lights, alloys, spoiler and side skirts.

Bad news...I had a car crash. Stupid friggin woman came from the left while I was driving on the main road and smashed my indicator and front bumper. Takes the absolute p155 cause she won't admit liability even though she blatantly knows its her fault. And I was just about to change the lights and indicator as well. The worst thing is, cause I'm a young driver they're gonna blame it on me, I'm gonna get screwed, my premium's gonna go up, no claims out of the window and I'll have less to spend on my car.

the splitter might be designed for the 16v mk4 or one of the mk5 models which could explain why it doesn't fit.

bad luck with the bump. stand your ground with the insurance, don't accept any outcomes which will affect you negatively in the future.
