Dump Valve Lifting Pressure

Hi there, gonna be fitting a Dump Valve off a SEAT Leon 1.8T 180BHP to my car tonight. You are able to adjust the tension of the spring to lift at different pressures, the spring has not been adjusted at all, not sure if i will need to adjust for my car and what damage it will do if any if its at a different lifting pressure? Suppose if it is set too high it would over pressure the system (Turbo)

Ok, fitted the dump valve anyway. From driving it back from my mates I could here the turbo spooling at 2000 Revs which was ok, but dont really feel it kicking in as i did before. Still feels as quick as before tho. Dont know whether to start adjusting the pressure??
