No, haven't touched the engine as the gerbox is rubbish.
At the end of the day if want to go faster i'll just buy a faster car.

Whats up with your box? or do you mean in general the Gti boxes? in which case i agree...they suck.
The gearboxes in general are rubbish and it doesn't make sense to turbo it in my opinion. At one point I was thinking of putting a 1.8T in, but again, whats the point? At the end of the day it'll still be a polo and the money spent on an engine conversion I can put towards a new car.

i'm guessing you'd attach it like you would audi door handles etc... purchase the handle with weld plate attached.
And any extensive work on the machanism can be hidden with the plastic casing on the hatch inside
very nice! is that a stubby sharan aerial you have? if so which year did it come off? i have just purchased a 2003 one from vw and the thread is to wide to screw in! did tou have to get the whole mount aswell? any advise would be great!
