How do you know your boost is spiking?

And

How do you know the boost is spiking due to the valve?

It could easily be the remap and the way its been mapped to request boost.

You need to do logging with VAG-COM to see whats really going on IMO

i bought mine off a lad off audi-sport forum, he bought it from the US for the same price iirc, but they may have gone up in price, im not sure.

I dont have my Gti atm :( picking it up tomora, woo, but ill get the valve on asap (if i can remember where i put it  ) and get back to you, there is a mod you can do to cope with the "overboost throwing the car into limp mode" problem, check out http://www.izvw.com/ he explains how and where to get the stuff, think i read somewhere with the J valve and MBC mod, he was holding a good 21psi midrange and topping out at 23 :)

you fit it exactly the same, its just the electrical connector clips on the back of the n75j, unlike all the other n75 valves which it clips on the front

its just the position of the electrical sensor thats reversed, rear not front facing, not the way the tubes fit on
