Halfords caliper paint is brilliant, I'd recommend it,
You could also use a tin of red hammerite.
There's alot of kits that suggest prepping painting hardening etc...
But all I did was:
Removed the wheels (obviously), and gave each one a good hard clean, you really have to make sure they're spanking before painting on, sand any flaking existing paint.
Then applied about 3 thick layers of paint with a brush, leaving about 20-30 mins in between each layer,
Then just leave to dry overnight, simple as that,
Since the coat hasn't shifted, looks brand new everytime I wash them.
Are your calipers already painted? Or are you painting them from scratch?
If from scratch I'd recommend removing them from your car for a better finish
