Calliper Paint

Hi, was wondering, im going to paint my callipers soon, am i best to buy one of those expensive caliper paint kits which i wont use again, or is any paint from halfords ok?

Halfords caliper paint is brilliant, I'd recommend it,

You could also use a tin of red hammerite.

There's alot of kits that suggest prepping painting hardening etc...

But all I did was:

Removed the wheels (obviously), and gave each one a good hard clean, you really have to make sure they're spanking before painting on, sand any flaking existing paint.

Then applied about 3 thick layers of paint with a brush, leaving about 20-30 mins in between each layer,

Then just leave to dry overnight, simple as that,

Since the coat hasn't shifted, looks brand new everytime I wash them.

Are your calipers already painted? Or are you painting them from scratch?
If from scratch I'd recommend removing them from your car for a better finish
