That was cheap! Dont really c second hand ones for sale much, so decided I cudnt be bothered to wait, and just bought sum from dealers (they were nearlly £80!)
thought i would bring this back up to date, i have now got a set of G40 arches and skirts to go on my car, the garage is starting to get quite full now! can't wait for better weather!
going up to the breakers on saturday hopefully to get some clips to fit the arches on, they need a clean but shouldn't be long, however, my garage floor is looking very modded!, loadsa stuff to do!

I guess I'll get round to finishing it one day
aaah so it was ur's at Leciester last month. Looked a little odd! How have u got away with it ?
yeah that was me, and the bumpers exactly the same as when you last saw my car, it hasnt been finished yet, but its legal without one, as there are no lights in it, and without it there are no sharp edges and the exhaust doesnt go part the rearmost part of the car. I'm suprised I havnt been pulled yet, but then again it wouldnt be the first time I've told the police what the regulations are.

No I cant remember you making an entrance, I think I might have been in the pub when you arrived.
Its just a standard Scorpion system, but its mounted higher than normal so that when I lower the car it doesnt scrape on the floor. I had to cut 2 inches out of the bumper to clear it, but I think they look better like that as they lok as if they belong on the car rather than just an afterthought.
got some more parts now, i got a green air filter n some bits off of a mk3 golf to make a home made induction kit! should be good when done, but yet again, waiting for the right weather!
Green Induction kit eh that'll be noisy as hell if my mate's Clio is anything to go by. People used to run for the pavement when they heard that thing coming!
sounds good to me! can't wait now! should be an easy fir apart from having to take the threads out of the top, n changing the position of the breather pipe!
does n e one no, that orange thingy in the filter box, is that the bit that'll turn a valve for the hot air feed? if i'm not going to have a hot air feed, do i need it?
No, you don't actually need a hot air feed, as it is only a means of re-using hot air in the engine to give a smoother cold start. The hot air feed is only used for like 2 mins anyway, and besides, wen you get an induction kit on any car, you lose the hot air feed anyway.
