Estoril Rims

Post by crodgers »

Looking at a set of 4 Estoril Rims. Any ideas if they would look good on my 6n or if they would fit ok?

Get them brought! They'll look very euro. Awesome wheels. They'll suit the 6n very well.

They always look stunning on 6n's and even more sweet if they're polished up nicely.

An i was thinking that myself. Although the ones i am looking at have a lot of water leakage in the lacquer and dont really have the funds for a refurb at the min

Try it yourself or gather enough £££ for a future diamond cut.

Ano id like to. But gona get a price for respray after removing my bumpstrips. drivers side has two different shades. and bottom half is like a lacquer. Tried everything, so looks like respray is the last resort or else stick them bak on.

Will these rims definately fit my 6n? Really considering buying them and want to be sure. They are a bit messy with lacquer marks where the water has got in but i would get them and try a refurb. wat yous think?

no idea if they will fit. you will have to check the pcd. should be 4x100. then theres the center bore of the rim to consider. hat car are they coming off off?

Centre Bore is 57 MM. They were originally fitted to a Golf Mk2

Not sure but i'd imagine them Estorils come in one fitment. All VW rims have 57.1mm bore so thats not a problem. if they came off a mk2 then they defo fit as both the mk2 and a 6n have the same fitment.

6J are pretty skinny lol

You'r ok with 195/45/15 but if you want stretch then go for something with a smaller width. As they're ET35 you may want to add spacers to the front and back to make them looks even better. Possibly 10mm at the front and 15/20mm at the back.
