Manage to FIND one down the breakers, and it wanted to leave with us for free lol

Got the car running but after changing the plugs and coil the leads seem to be f****d!! :evil:

Surprised you didn't go volkspares down the road for parts. Leads are around £20 down there, or there's my old mk 4 navy polo in the Abbey car breakers by morrisons in erith, that has got brand spanking new leads, distributor cap and rotor arm :D

if the coil dosent help mate try getting your timing checked, i had the excat same prblem with my old mk4 change everthin fuel filter, plugs, leads, coil, rotor arm, injectors didnt make a world of difference, took it to my mate who owns a vw specilist garage he checked the timing and it was a bit out change it within 30min and all was oki smokey whish id of just taken it straiht down the garage in the first place lol

my mates suggested fuel sensor, do 6n's have one, i think its time for garage personally....

In a word, No! And yes, you've done a lot of the simple easy stuff, so give the mechanic the headache! Just make sure you tell 'em whats already been changed! Be quicker, simpler & no more expensive then changing any more parts. :?

Managed to fix the car today, no more scooby wana be :lol:

after everything, it was the f*****g leads :roll: not impressed, but hey its got new leads,coil,plugs,fuel filter :lol:

Now its due MOT,Tax and insurance all in the same month :cry:
