Got the car running but after changing the plugs and coil the leads seem to be f****d!!
Engine problem...stuttering
Surprised you didn't go volkspares down the road for parts. Leads are around £20 down there, or there's my old mk 4 navy polo in the Abbey car breakers by morrisons in erith, that has got brand spanking new leads, distributor cap and rotor armJosh_polo wrote:Manage to FIND one down the breakers, and it wanted to leave with us for free lol

if the coil dosent help mate try getting your timing checked, i had the excat same prblem with my old mk4 change everthin fuel filter, plugs, leads, coil, rotor arm, injectors didnt make a world of difference, took it to my mate who owns a vw specilist garage he checked the timing and it was a bit out change it within 30min and all was oki smokey whish id of just taken it straiht down the garage in the first place lol
In a word, No! And yes, you've done a lot of the simple easy stuff, so give the mechanic the headache! Just make sure you tell 'em whats already been changed! Be quicker, simpler & no more expensive then changing any more parts.Josh_polo wrote:my mates suggested fuel sensor, do 6n's have one, i think its time for garage personally....
