Thinkin of goin back to stage one
Had Stage two on my car for a month now and am not too inpressed with it. Car doesnt seem a torquey as when i had stage one. 1st and 2nd gear seem fine but 3rd, 4th and 5th seem a lot slower, dont really feel my turbo kicking in or anythin, just seems very flat. Also my car before dont 145ish (on a track) very easy but now its struggles to go past 120!!!

Problem with your TIP / N75 Install ?????
Further exhaust/ intercooling mods required ???
Stage 2 will equal more boost (+more by N75J), more fuel, more ign advance - without the full exhaust and intercooling.... EGTs will go sky high.... charge intake temp goes too high.... ignition correction goes too high.... ecu just pulls it all back till its happy again... so performance can go worse not better....
But I'd check all the pipes, etc, etc..... you need someone to read the ecu to check for errors and look at the long term fuelling and ignition correction....

Not the TIP or N75J coz was having this problem just after the remap and exhaust which were both donre on the same day. Still waiting on my APR DV to come, ( guy havin problemn with APR or somethin) anyway been promised it will be here next week, so hopefully that makes some difference cos i can feel the car totally dying between the gears and taking a few seconds for the turbo to start boosting up again with the standard DV. TBH i think it really needs the FMIC which I cant afford the now so am thinkin about goin back to stage 1
* Do 1.8T 225bhp run the same DV as the 150bhp???

Yes TT225 runs same Bosch DV, although there are different revisions as they have been improved upon over the years... the Bosch DV manages 1.5 bar in a chipped TT .... no problem...
I only use the Forge FMCL007P because I like the shineyness.... I have swapped back to the 710N before... performance just the same...

weird i think its hitting limp mode in the higher gears mine used to when i tried a atmosphere dump valve only on mway
Dunno i had a 2.5" with no cat and mine feels to hold boost longer now and is smoother does 155mph LOL, might be the CAT is it 2.5" , i heard the standard cat is just as good if removed and 2.5" pipes welded on each end if you get me try that! Other than that id take it back to APR and say your not happy and get em to check it or re flash it maybe!
My airflow meter went a few weeks ago might be that too!

Kenny,
Mine had been revo'd before I got it.... ran ok... no problems... not that aggressive...fairly smooth...just slight boost spike at the usual 3200rpm..
Bear in mind that Revo was born from APR... so that will give you the idea of how it will feel... ie.. not much different than the APR you had
Custom Code ... more American written stuff.
Also bear in mind now APR have been near the ECU it might have to come out for tuning next time because they will have changed the access key for OBD programming...
So perhaps consider this ???
Remove the brain and send to me.. and choose...
1. Revo style
2. German Style - AGRESSIVE - Like Whitegtipolo
3. More-BHP style - Smooth - Like many others on here....
Just for the cost of postage ....
And dont worry about the anti-tamper ecu case - I tell you how to remove it.
