Some nice OEM touches mate 8).

I would mount the amp elsewhere though. What about a false floor in the boot? It wouldn't get damaged under there.

why mount the amp elsewhere?
its easy access in the glovebox if i want to fart about with the settings or anything :)

Because it couldn't be anymore in way, unless it was on the dash or you were sitting on it!!

Once tweaked a few times, your amp should be good to go. You shouldn't have to perform on-the-fly alterations to it, that should be done through the headunit.

Totally up to you where you place it though. I'm just saying there's many a better place!

I noticed your headlamp control unit has two dials where my Polo (don't know about others) only has one. Did yours only have one before? If so do you just ignore the second one (headlight adjustment or whatever it is)?

my original had two aswell.ones for the headlights and the others a dimmer control for the instrument/dashboard lights.
mines is an S-reg.maybe its only on the later models? :?
