Pictures, i'm extremely happy. Paid £240 (£10 less) because I found a tiny tear on the rear of the rear seat but not worried as its out of sight when in :D

Needed a good clean and still need some more to put on, but they are coming up nicely. Got the leather handbrake (a good comprimise to the 6n2 one Tim :D) and the gear stick (looks s**t, so i'm keeping the GTI one on  ). Got to be one of my best buys on the car so far, comfort is amazing and the ride smoothness has improved significantly. I'll get some better pictures in the daylight, but have these for now 8)

Oh, and the handbrake and gear gaiter.

Yeah I know, a real bargain. Got them on ebay, found a chap breaking a colour concept and instantly messaged them, he wanted £275 but I negotiated it down, then drove down this morning to pick them up. Chap was obviously an enthusiast, had three mk3 golf GTi's (one was the colour concept) and he stripped it out. The seats really suit the colour of the car, and ride is so much more smoother. Mum wasn't happy when I had them first, as she said they were a waste of money and that I wouldn't be able to get the grime out but its almost there now. I might get the meguiers up then use turtlewax leather polish to finish it up.

They look awesome mate, you weren't searching for very long!

Handbrake's a great assist too! Much better than the OEM one.

Looking forward to seeing the rears in. Great find mate 8)

Cheers for the comments guys I really appreciate it, I hope to clean and transfer the rears tonight. I had a pig of a job getting the old backing off the mk4 seats, does anyone have tips for getting the ones off the golf seats?

Also, the leather has lines which have trapped dirt, how can I clean these out? Got some megs cleaner which is good, however it doesn't seem to do much! Either that or its soaking up the cream instantly (they haven't been cleaned ever, and still need some hard work getting grime out of the nooks in the leather). I suppose thats why there were cheap though!

Lovely seats you've got Daz, make sure you use plenty of leather feed/oil on them to get the suppleness back & they'll last ages!

And take some pics of the fitment of the rear seat as you go & post up in the DIY guides, always useful to see how its done!
