Gave the car a scan with VAGCOM
2 codes showing up:
16520 P0136 O2 Sensor Circuit - Malfunction (Bank 1 Sensor 2 A
16622 - Manifold Pressure / Boost Sensor (G31): Signal too High
P0238 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent
A lot of people hated the laggy, smelly, gas guzzling turbo cars of the 80s (I didn't!) but do you know what? I miss them! Turbo engines these days try to be so smooth, you wonder if the engine is actually turboed at all! BMW 335i for example!
