headlght bulb replacment

Hi Ive just went out and brought a polo gti and noticed the bulb has gone i tryed to change the bulb but cant get plastic cover off any ideas?

pull the rubber surround off, then the light fitting twists and pulls off, then you can release the bulb and remove, replace and refit.

its unlikely the bulb has died though, so get the ballast tested, and check the fuse as these normally last forever!

side light front bulb replacment

the head light is ok the side light is gone and is in a plasic moulding any ideas how to remove this moulding?

Hang on, are you referring to the rear palstic cover of the headlight? If so it's held in by 3 small crosshead bolts. Look here:
