I have a 6n2 1.4 16v. Had it since a was 16 and never had any problems. Recently its started to play up. When pulling away it will hesitate jerk violently then drive smoothly. I am a mechanic so ive checked near about everythin. Im thinkin along the lines of a new throttle body...any ideas?

Being a mechanic I thought youd have know that 
The polos have a Temperature sender located in the thermostat housing that often fails at some point and causes idling problems, fuelling problems, and general instability. It would be worth changing it as its an inexpensive part to replace.

Sender or sensor it can be called either. It sends the temperature to the ECU
