cool so looks like saturday i'll be spending most of the day on my car. might see about taking the pipes of and seeing how clean they are. could prob clean them with a metal rod and cloth wrapped around the end or something like that.

yeah another way to see if they need cleaning without taking them off is if you can see a clear smoke coming from the pipes after a longish journey it would come most likely form the left of your engine cover near the top left about 3 inches from the top of the cover...

well today i cleaned the throttle body. totally removed it from the car and cleaned it. then put it back on and sprayed some carb cleaner inside the throttle body when my mate was reving the engine dunno if i used enough tho. then took it for a drive and it seems smoother so hopefully thats sorted the problem. when i drove tho it do the juddering thing once but that might of been me leaving it in second gear when i was about to go over a speed bump and dont think i had my foot ont he accelerator. havnt checked the breather pipes tho but hopefully they'll be ok.

only thing i can do now is leave it a couple of days and see if the juddering changes or not.

indeed mate.

youll hear a screeching, the engine will start running hot, coolant will boil and the head gasket will fail.
