Vibrating mirror
Vibrating mirror
I have a reeally annoying vibrating mirror when i listen to songs with alot of bass.
Its annoying because my passenger side mirror doesnt move at all wher as the drivers side does.
Im wondering if its because the 'shell' of the mirror is cracked at the bottom?
Or if its something holding the mirror its self in place is coming loose.
im not really sure how to check.
Thanks.

Re: Vibrating mirror
dynamat your doors?
Re: Vibrating mirror
That could be an option, but what would be the need for it if one side doesnt vibrate, when they are the same door?

Re: Vibrating mirror
The mirror shouldnt vibrate unless the mounts are loose on the back of the glass, or the adjuster motor screws arent tight.
Re: Vibrating mirror
What's the easiest way to access it to make sure every thing is done up tight?

Re: Vibrating mirror
Take the mirror case off, and remove the mirror glass. Check to make sure no clips are broken, and tighten up any loose screws on the mirror motor etc
Re: Vibrating mirror
Does the case just pop off?

Re: Vibrating mirror
The mirror cases arent screwed on. Only clipped. The screw holds on the black undertrim
Re: Vibrating mirror
you sure it just pops off?
Ive tryed my hardest to pull the damn thing off and i cant get no where.
I dont want to force it off because i dont want to snap it. I tryed to pry it off but that just damaged it.
And the screw underneath is stuck in there like a good'n. So that wont budge,
There is another hole underneath covered by a rubber cap.. has that got to do with any thing?
