312mm brake upgrade

jeff, what you have on the rear should be from mark 4 golf 20th edition (337/20) right? are they the same setup? i found something on ecstuning: http://www.ecstuning.com/Volkswagen-337 ... ar/ES1959/
is it the same caliper that you're using?

im running golf mk iv 25th anniversary equipment on the rear with goodridge hoses and tarox disks and pads

Just need to get new discs and new pads. also braided lines as i'm going to end up doing the 256 rear.

yes you are correct in stating that the front calipers will not do the rear

Do 312s clear 16s??

I NEED to do front and rear conversion (Drums to discs on the back) soon.

Was going to upgrate to 288s, but was told wiht the power figure im wanting 312s will be the better option.

I have a set of front 312mm calipers and carriers off an Octavia VRS...plus i have the rear 256mm calipers and carriers...these can be sold as a whole set or will sell just the fronts or just the rears.
