depends on the power to weight ratio. The heavier one of the 2 will be slower.

how much did all that set you back ?, also what tweeters have you got ?, i really need to get some lol... step dad is a carpenter might get him to make me a box.

ideally id want two 12" subs running off one amp... two 6by9's but hidden as i hate the look of them, and ust upgraded door speakers and tweeters... and in a perfect world for my door speakers to be amped aswell :?

but i know nothing about car audio so i dont know how expensive that would be or even whatr i would need, could all that be run off my exsisting car battery ?

haha you dont want to know!

Just some cheap ones of ebay, about £10 for the tweeters.

Yes all mine runs off my car battery, lights dim when its loud but if you are driving then it is fine!

Ive got 2 because it was a steal for £80 from my sister (now as she has a baby).

I cant remember the make, but they aren't popular, or some FLI crap.

ive got 2 12" subs and 2 amps, but only running the one amp.

Probably use the other for components, when i get money . lol

TBH, the stock speakers, with a sub, aren't bad!

But, is there a way to stop the bass going to the components as well as the sub?

When the bass goes to the components, they get distorted very quickly. Hence why i was looking to get a new set with a crossover.

125 out of a 1.4 60bhp??? how steep was this hill, 50% lol

Dont always go by what the speedo say's though, sometimes they can be up to 10% inaccurate.
Bigger wheels etc also puts the speedo out so its not always going as fast as the speedo suggests.

I think my GTI is probably cable of 135 but I have never taken it past 125 :D
