Polo 9n3 angel eyes - HELP

Post by umar-dub »

Hi All,

I recently bought a pair of angel eyes for my polo 9n3.

I have a slight issue which im hoping someone on the forum might be able to help :)

The problem is the rings have stopped working and so have the 3 leds on the top strip.

I have had a look at the wiring an does have a couple of wires that have come out of place.

Would anyone have some pictures of how the rear looks (wiring) of these polo angel eyes for the 9n3 so i know which wire goes where as i have tried nearly all the combinations possible but none of them work and the rings and the LEDs do not work. The indicator and the main beam aswell as the flash work fine its just when you have the sidelights on nothing shines up, checked the fuse there fine.

If i dont have no luck ill just sell them as spares or repairs or give them to an electrician who might be able to help..

You mean the wires going in to the connector attached to the headlights when you bought them?

Ill take a picture of mine when I get home from work, unless someone has done it by then :)

Yeah thats right where the wires going to the connector there is a white wire that comes out of the block connector but is not connected to nothing and i know it connects to another wire but theres quite a few loose wires.

Im just uploading some pictures to show you exactly what im talking about because me explaining it in words i dont think im making it clear what i mean

From what I can remember, you need to pick from the black ones which of the lights you want on

Angels, LED spot, LED strip

On mine I just have the Angels and LED spot, so my LED strip is disconnected

Hopefully these pics will help you sort it, if you need any more just let me know

BennoGTi <---- Thanks alot dude, These are not working all wired up by my mechanic by showing these pictures to him, he did in 2 mins using these crimps.
But now these a slight issue everything works fine but the 2 leds on the top right of the light are not working on 1 of the headlights, iv been told the resistors thats taped up in black might be faulty so need 2 cut that out and take it to Maplins and re-solder a new one which will hopefully sort the issue out
