What are you on about?!

That was a link to my video..?

Yes, I got a Chrome switch in my car, but no, it does not have the LEAVING/ COMMING HOME feature. That is what this post is about.

Will that work on our Polo's?

Yeah! xD

Just saw it on a mates Golf, was awesome.

I'm sure you are aware that we have sort of the same function on our polos?
You know, when you tap the high beam..?

Only this would also provide the leaving home, which do not have as standard.

Doesn't look like it, the connector on the back of the switch in that photo looks different to me. I don't really see how the switch unit would be able to control the coming/leaving home lights anyway?

Yeah, as I said, I do too.

Not leaving home though..

@ Poloz Well, guess it wont fit then.. :(

Also, you need a VAG-COM code to make it work, as the webpage says.

( If you want your comming home lights to work, here is how;
1. Leave the light switch in 0 ( off ) with the key in, but engine off.
2. Pull the signal marker
3. Lights are now on for 30sec. Remove key and lock car.

Joz, do you have the Winter Pack (headlight washers and heated seats)? I thought this function was only available on those cars...

Yes, I do.

Heated seats, wing mirrors, washer nozzles and retractable headlight washers.

Actually, if it is possible to get a winter package on a car, it is standard in Norway xD 6 feet of snow year round :P
