Quick update ![Very Happy :D](./images/smilies/icon_biggrin.gif)
Spent about 2 hours on Saturday afternoon buffering my TT knee bars
They had quite a few light scratches when i got them and wanted to get them as near to perfect as possible.
Polished them up with a bit of autosol and boom

Re: Greg's Progress Thread :) - Knee bars!
Really need to get mine fitted, that gap above the bar just bugs me cos it dont sit flush if that makes sense?
If mine don't look write I might leave them out
So you used self tapers in the end?

Re: Greg's Progress Thread :) - Knee bars!
It's just the way they go on mate, there is no other way of attaching them without having that slight gap at the top.Trottagti wrote:Really need to get mine fitted, that gap above the bar just bugs me cos it dont sit flush if that makes sense?

Once they are bolted on you can hardly see the gap tbh, if you use black bolts that is
![Smile :)](./images/smilies/icon_smile.gif)
I used a 4mm allen key countersunk bolt

I would definitely recommend fitting them mate, especially the work you've put into shortening them ![Smile :)](./images/smilies/icon_smile.gif)
