Rieger Rear Diffuser
Whats peoples opinion of this for the back of my 1.2 Match? I know its similar to the GTI but i just want to make my Polo look more sporty and i think this would be a great addition

Re: Rieger Rear Diffuser
Not worth it unless you have twin exhausts..

Re: Rieger Rear Diffuser
Thinking about getting the exhausts aswell?
Re: Rieger Rear Diffuser
I'd keep the rear bumper/diffuser standard and if your going for the GTi look then consider a rear spoiler off a GTi. That with a decent twin-exhaust system would look OEM, specially when lowered.

Re: Rieger Rear Diffuser
Hmm, i dunno what looks the best :/ hard decisions...
Re: Rieger Rear Diffuser
Well the above Reiger diffuser is designed for the GTi bumper. In order for it to fit on yours you'd have to be pretty handy with a dremel or get someone to carv into your bumper. I personally don't think there's anything wrong with the rear of the non-GTI Polo models apart from the exhaust. Although I am an OEM-whore, I like everything to look as if it came with the car.
Re: Rieger Rear Diffuser
ABT is an alternative to Rieger, very expensive but its an alternative for you to look at.

Re: Rieger Rear Diffuser
Yeah I still want it to look as normal as possible, personally I don't think the ABT kit doesn't looks right. I'd look to just get the proper GTI back bumper as it does probably look the best
Re: Rieger Rear Diffuser
For the cost of a OEM GTi rear bumper I wouldn't bother mate. I bet if you rung VW and got a part number and a price (if they'd give you one) you'd suddenly not like the idea anymoreNeilMcConville wrote:Yeah I still want it to look as normal as possible, personally I don't think the ABT kit doesn't looks right. Re: Rieger Rear Diffuser
I gave the website an email to see what the story is
Re: Rieger Rear Diffuser
I posted a whole heap of links to body parts in another thread not too long ago. If you want to broaden your search to mainland europe, there are a few companies that are manufacturing full aftermarket kits for the 6R polo....
