Fitment Help
Fitment Help
hey guys...im from south africa and looking buy a polo gti, i was wondering, can i run a fitment setup of a 8 or 8.5j in the front and 9j in the rear with some camber, the wheels will be 16" ET30
cheers
Re: Fitment Help
with the right tyres yes!
the question is if you will be low enough at the back;that is very hard to achieve on a 9n3!

Re: Fitment Help
Coilovers are needed
You might need to stretch 195s in front as my 205s on 7.5s et38 are rubbing

Re: Fitment Help
Yuup 1st thing im buying is a set of coils
any ideas on how much negative camber i can/need to run on the rears?
Re: Fitment Help
which wheels you getting?some 3piece ones?
I even think you won't need camber shims if the ET is 30

Re: Fitment Help
trust me with et30 u wont need to do anything, but 9 on the rear could be a bit hard, but it should fit the et has to be 30 otherwise it wont fit,or u could put a 25et on the rear with the 9's and leave the et30 on the front
Re: Fitment Help
thanks for the advice fellas... looking at a set of image wheels, namely these
but in 16's so i can have moar lows
, image says they can custom make the wheels so im sure i can get em done with an ET30 offset
Re: Fitment Help
if i was u id get the tomason or the keskin
Fitment Help
They're gorgeous. Custom made will be very very expensive though
Re: Fitment Help
tehy are nice really german style with the really tight tyre
Re: Fitment Help
I had a look a keskin before i saw the Image wheel, still undecided as the keskin is cheaper but i love the look of the image wheels
