I've had a polo bluemotion for a few days an found a few things I wondered if the 1.2 tsi suffered the same issues do you have to press the clutch while turning the ignition on ?
Is the clutch really light I stalled the bluemotion reversing up an incline every time
To get reverse do I needed to push the gear stick down an to the top left
I was quite shocked how bad the bluemotions gear box was it was clunky and clumsy to use An find gears How is the gearbox
Does it have a gear change indicator
Is it quite happy to sit in 5th at 30
Thanks
1.2 tsi

Nope you don't have to press the clutch down.daydotz wrote:I've had a polo bluemotion for a few days an found a few things I wondered if the 1.2 tsi suffered the same issues do you have to press the clutch while turning the ignition on ?
The clutch is fairly light compared to other cars i've driven but I wouldn't say it's overly light.daydotz wrote:Is the clutch really light I stalled the bluemotion reversing up an incline every time
Reverse does require you to push the gear stick down and to the top left. I find the gearbox to be pretty smooth to be honest, but then again i'm used to itdaydotz wrote:To get reverse do I needed to push the gear stick down an to the top left

Quite happily, you can go up most inclines in 5th at 30mph. If the road is flat or on a very slight incline my car is comfortable in 6th at 30mph, I never feel like like i'm labouring the engine.daydotz wrote:Is it quite happy to sit in 5th at 30
Hope this helps
Re: 1.2 tsi
thanks the 1.2tdi bluemotion really had to work the gears to keep it happy considering the torque it had
