Green stuff pads are in no way an upgrade.

Best upgrade without changing calipers would be black diamond grooved discs with ferrodo ds2500 pads

I found some 312mm brake from a mk4 gti which had brand new pads and good discs! For £160, not bad that so just shop around on ebay :)

Best brake conversion is as said either from a mk4 golf or a TT ;) definitely amazing off the TT!

The old 8L S3, the 132kw mk4 and the TT all have 312 5x100 front discs

I just recently purchased a set of these

In pounds it was about 40 pounds for the set when they normally sell for close to 100 pounds per disk normally

I need a set of those discs and pads to make the 312mm upgrade worthwhile I think! Standard pads don't bite well enough!
