In what way are they broken?

And is it a 3 or 5 door.

It's a 3 door!

They don't work when I use the switch even though I can hear the connection click - sometimes its intermittent also same story with the key in the door trick, and the drivers door central locking is fluffed!?

You can get repair kits with new clamps on ebay for the 3door ones

Sounds like it may be an earth issue though or a connection between door > car

Check the wires inside the rubber bellows for splits and snapped ones, and make any necessary repairs.

ive had a look around there and its been "re-earthed" badly. but ive hada go and still no luck - its better but still intermitant.

Could be broken - id whip it off and take a look inside the door at the mechanism

headlights needed ajusting and sidelight was out - perfect and on the road!
