Blue GT MFD Second Speed Display (mph or km/h)?
Taken delivery of my Blue GT and need to know how to change the Second Speed display from km/h to mph. In the manual it states selecting a menu Alt. speed dis in settings. This menu option is not available on the Blue GT? And the alternate method of setting it does not work either.
Re: Blue GT MFD Second Speed Display (mph or km/h)?
The option isn't available. As the speedo doesn't have a KPH display.
The only option is VAGCOM but currently the option to turn on the large MPH doesn't work for new cars.

You need vcds
Change cluster to australian
Then on the mfd un-check alternate speed (option will have moved to main screen)
Then enable Digital Speed (mfd data iirc)
My dealer didnt want to do this so i bought a cable and did a few things myself!

So far on my car it appears this function has been disabled tho.
Re: Blue GT MFD Second Speed Display (mph or km/h)?
I had this briefly attempted yesterday but it would appear this option is now locked out. If someone has successfully done this on a 2013 vehicle then please advise how it is done?

Rosstech advised me the function has been locked out on the newer clusters along with needle sweep.

I followed your advice and found it worked a treat. Many thanks. I used a Ross Tech dongle.Joe9n3 wrote:You need vcds

I've just bought the BlueGT - still has less than 100 miles on the clock. Very excited.
While I was at it I activated auto door locking at 10 mph.

Did you do this via the post a few above about changing the cluster to Australian and doing what it said?

Did you activate this as per setting the clocks to Australia in the post above?

No, changed it to ROW (Rest of the World), as I did with my Scirocco. The celebration mode (needle sweep), was done without having to change anything in the coding.vedubber wrote:Did you activate this as per setting the clocks to Australia in the post above?
