Run Flat Light

Hey everyone, I have owned my 9n3 GTI for about a month or so, the run flat light came on a few weeks ago and I checked my pressure and one was a little low so topped it up, found the button on the dash but it doesn't turn the light off, should it work like that? I got my friend to turn it off with his vagcom in the end but last night it came on again and the tyres are all fine pressure wise, pressed the button and it still doesnt turn off, do I have to get it done with vagcom everytime? I havent got a user manual for the car yet. Any help apreciated x

Just hold the botton in until it beeps but if its coming in when tyre pressure is correct check the hand brake lever on the rear calipers isn't sticking

Thanks I will try holding it in longer, not heard it beep when I have pressed it before. Thank you for your help!

Yep hold it down for a few seconds on with ignition on or engine running and will give you a nice 'ding'
