It does look so much smarter with the gloss though. Was just a bonus that the upper GTI grill was in gloss black already.

Bottom Grill I got from the Dealer for about £55 I think or there abouts. The Top grill I got from ebay and funnily enough it came in gloss black which was a good bonus.

Believe it or not... But you can actually find all parts for a Polo 6R brand spanking new at any VW dealer...lovemypolo6r wrote:where did you find these both?

The bottom grill is easy... the top grill however is a different story...greypolo9n3 wrote:so how do you remove the bumper grills then?..id give it a go but dont want to risk any broken clips...

I scratched the paint on my bumper removing the top grill! Ideally you need trim removal tools to do it properly.

I think you vil have a hard time wrapping the bumper grills.greypolo9n3 wrote:so how do you remove the bumper grills then?..id give it a go but dont want to risk any broken clips...

The ones around the foglights have very textured surface and the center isn't even primed...
The easiest will be to paint. Then yu "just" sand down the texture af the two side grills, primer and paint all three and then cleearcoat and job done.
