Wilxay yeah it does, leaks like a b***h everytime I use it. Really annoying!!!

Haha wasn't from you :roll: kidding!

It does look so much smarter with the gloss though. Was just a bonus that the upper GTI grill was in gloss black already.

Bottom Grill I got from the Dealer for about £55 I think or there abouts. The Top grill I got from ebay and funnily enough it came in gloss black which was a good bonus.

so how do you remove the bumper grills then?..id give it a go but dont want to risk any broken clips...

i was thinking of wrapping mine gloss black instead of painting :P

The bottom grill is easy... the top grill however is a different story...

I scratched the paint on my bumper removing the top grill! Ideally you need trim removal tools to do it properly.

ohh i can do the top one easily haha...u just need to put some brute force into it without getting ur hands in the wrong places risking damage

are the bottom grills/panels just clipped in?

I think you vil have a hard time wrapping the bumper grills.

The ones around the foglights have very textured surface and the center isn't even primed...

The easiest will be to paint. Then yu "just" sand down the texture af the two side grills, primer and paint all three and then cleearcoat and job done. :)
