2015 Polo SE Design, LED daylight lights

Hello all, new member here.

Ive just got myself a 2015 Polo SE Design and want to change the Daylight Running Lights for some bright LEDS. I've seen somewhere that I need canbus LEDs but I want to know how to get into change them??

Any info would be greatly appreciated including where to purchase bulbs.

pull the covers out of the bumper (just pull forward, not too hard) and you'll then see the light unit.

these are fixed with two torx bolts and you can then also pull the unit forward.

then you can simply twist (or pull, don't remember) the light bulb out.

Someone mentioned an old coat hanger in the small hole this does help as i done mine yesterday. Also when your replacing the fog make sure it goes back in the slot and clips back in then replace the 2 torx. Found link http://www.uk-polos.net/view ... 10&t=58286

I fitted 60W LEDs in mine 6 months ago and, despite being warned on here that they might be too bright, I've yet to be flashed. They just look like normal 'bright white' DRLs to me.

I bought them ones Bigtam, however they weren't the right ones for my car. My Daylight Running Lights are next to the fog lights and are T20 7443 . Also just on a side note my car must be a newer build 6R 6C0 as my genuine VCDS doesn't pick everything up.
