Brake light problems

Post by Zephyr »

Still having problems with my brake lights, Ive replaced the brake switch and am still only getting the top light working, code reader is still bringing up the code in the photo. Are there any fuses or something I can check as other than that I'm out of ideas?

16955 - cruise/brake switch a circuit malfunction.

There will be fuses to check but I couldn't tell you the numbers without checking

Also check you haven't got two blown bulbs - sounds silly but perfectly plausible. Also get a multimeter on the pins and check for 12V when activated
