I think the photo is from the old Polo Bluemotion 1.2TDI. But my current 1.4TSI Blue GT (with bluemotion technologies) has one too.

Re: ciclo's Polo. R-line 1.2 TSI 90hp 119gr.
Remembering
BCM & Stalks
BCM

Stalks for my R-line with MFSW
These stalks are for them to work in this way
To install these stalks on 6R (original factory xenon or BlueMotion only) have to make some changes in the wiring of automatic lights, also in the original wiring. It's simple, though in the following diagrams may seem some complicated.
Do you remember this diagram?

https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B2nv91 ... sp=sharing
Now to install new stalks it should be as follows

https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B2nv91 ... sp=sharing
For example, if you already have the automatic light wiring, this is the change that you must make in the wiring.

Also add the necessary wires according to the pinout assignment of diagram.
I just wanted to mention that to carry out this diagram it took me a many hours of work and research.
As I mentioned earlier I do not have the necessary diagrams from Elsawin.

Test 2 (in the right direction)
Once the new stalks wiring is installed correctly, "the lights" all lights have to be coded again. The real problem is that it must be done without VCDS label, also without documented Adaptation channels.
On the other hand I installed the communication network (CAN) of camera in the right place, as follows:

This diagram is applicable for know how to install this type BCM 7E0 Max4 on a 6R. (CAN line from instrument cluster to bcm)
After a small study
of the coding of this BCM on a T6, thanks to this publication, and after two grueling hours playing with Bytes and binaries, achievement that all lights work properly, as before, but I can not achieve that the high beam remains fixed by push the stalk.
Also, as I deactivated HBA after the Test 1 when I plugged VCDS cable for Test 2 the Gateway showed a fault about coding for HBA, when HBA was activated on Installation List no faults in the Gateway...
Anyway I do not get activate the HBA, perhaps the adaptation or coding are required at another Address.

Re:BCM compatibility query
Hi
I want to upgrade my POLO's BCM (6RU 937 086 D) to a suitable one that supports cruise control.
I see many BCM versions are available online for sale but cant determine whether the new BCM will work or not.
How/where to check higher versions of BCM which are compatible with my car?
E.g. I found 18D 937 087 F BCM but how to check its compatibility?
Thanks

In a scirocco the camera is connected to the powertrain CAN bus... (same as the airbag module). That did'nt work or?ciclo wrote:On the other hand I installed the communication network (CAN) of camera in the right place, as follows:

Re: ciclo's Polo. R-line 1.2 TSI 90hp 119gr.
The camera retrofit in Golf 6 is usually suggested to be connected on the automatic headlight range module (German forums mostly).
That is also the powertrain canbus but not every powertrain canbus is the same with the new BCM

Autoscan from Test 2 is much better than Autoscan from Test 1
keep in mind that it is necessary to combine different Bits from different Bytes, doing a simple calculation of possible combinations is difficult to hit the right combination, but with some knowledges and lucky to have the Autoscan T6 the posibilities of succeeding increase exponentially.
... the other day (Test 2) it was a great success achieve that all lights are working properly again, with Stalks-wiring new, without any type information (BCM labels).
Very probably the two things that I have left to achieve are very closely related.
Solution? I'm still working on it...
