Well this happened today. Might not be to everyone's taste, but the world would be a boring place if we were all the same. I personally love it, completely changes the look of the front of the car. (sorry its a quick I phone pic haha)

I will be testing this esp to see if it flashes on another note
How much did that set you back?
£50 because I got it done off a proper wrapping company, they tried Matt black wrap too but it didn't look as good

I think you find this out by pressing the Car button, then going to Settings and System Information/Version.
Thanks.
Here you go (fyi you press Menu then scroll to set up)
Thanks for that duffman! :-)

Anyone know what size torx driver you need for the screw the remove the end of the key

It looks really small and I've seen a set in halfords but only goes down to T5 and don't want them not to fit

Can't see anywhere that says the actual size.

I just don't want to get a T5 for it to be a T4 size.

I had a really strange issue today. During my way to work, just while I was driving in a straight line, an "Your rear left door are open" indicator showed up  I pulled over and it really wasn't completely closed  The last time I was opening this door was on Monday and since then I was using the car several times...

Sounds like it was closed enough not to set the sensor off and then the general bumps from our beautifully maintained roads here in the UK finally caused it to open enough to set the sensor off.

I'm thinking about adding the Car Net App Connect facility which my dealer quoted as £170 as a software upgrade. I know in hindsight it would have cost £100 to have it fitted in the first place but at the time I really didn't get an explanation of what it could do apart from being told Mirrorlink didn't work. Main reason is to display the iPhone sat nav on the display in the car. Grateful on views on whether this is worth doing and I think I could then use Siri to access phone contact etc?

In regards to Siri if you just use your mute button and say "Hey Siri" it should initiate the familiar blip over the Bluetooth anyway. Certainly did in the Golf mk6.

Finally the tracker updated to 'build in progress' although the dealer told me it started on the 4th! they have also told me i'll have it by the end of the month

Does end of the month sound realistic? i think they are just pulling my leg because i told them i'll be canceling if it takes much longer..

I should add that for the initial "hey Siri" your phone mic needs to hear you. Hence the mute. After that it should connect over Bluetooth.
